All BSU Cabinet Members must be enrolled and in good standing at the university, maintain a 2.5 grade point average (GPA) each term, and not be on probation of any kind. (I.e. Academic probation, Housing Probation etc.)

Eligibility for membership or appointed or elected student officer positions shall not be limited on the basis of race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, color, age, gender identity, marital status, citizenship, sexual orientation, or disability. The organization shall have no rules or policies that discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, color, age, gender, gender identity, marital status, citizenship, sexual orientation, or disability.

This organization shall prohibit all members and officers from engaging in hazing or committing any act that injures, degrades or disgraces any fellow student.

CSU State Standard says that the Treasurer and the President of any on-campus club cannot have less than a 2.5 cumulative GPA and ICC GPA is 2.3.

InterVarsity at CSUMB holds weekly Bible studies, study halls, and partners with the campus chaplains for a weekly interfaith service. InterVarsity as an organization holds two conferences a year where students can grow deeper in their relationship with God over a short weekend. There are also other, larger opportunities like a National conference every three years and occasional mission trip opportunities. We can also help you get connected to other spiritual communities in the area and walk alongside you in your faith journey.

Our mission is to provide a space for Jews on campus to be their authentically Jewish selves and to uplift Jewish voices. We make it possible for Jewish students to stay connected with their Judaism while pursuing higher education. Whether it be for religious Jewish students who want a place to celebrate holidays, or for Jewish students who want to connect with their culture and community.
We will do this through weekly Shabbat gatherings on Friday evenings, holiday celebrations, and exploring and learning about Jewish culture. We can also have discussions where students will get the opportunity to talk about their experiences being Jewish and learn more about Jewish culture.

The benefits of membership are that Jewish students will get to have a community and a support system on campus. Jewish and non-Jewish students are welcome to come connect with each other and cultivate new friendships with people from different backgrounds. We also plan to have guest speakers come to club meetings, in person or over zoom.

Jewish students would have opportunities to learn more about their culture and history. They will be able to connect with their Judaism through shabbat dinners, events to celebrate our holidays, and potential field trips to the temple in Carmel. Weekly shabbat meetings would be a great time for students to relax and have conversations regarding Jewish teachings and culture.
Non-Jewish allies will have an opportunity to learn more about the Jewish culture and people and will be invited to engage in enriching experiences by taking part in our traditions with us. We are also a space for people who are interested in converting to Judaism.
In addition all students who attend meetings will get to enjoy different Jewish foods such as challah and bagels.

The MSW Student Association serves as an avenue for students to collaborate and connect with their classmates through monthly social events and public meetings. The Association also supports engaging students in NASW events, such as Lobby Days, and involving MSW Students in other Social Work events, including volunteer opportunities. In addition, the MSW Student Association serves as a mediator between the student body and faculty members, allowing for student interests and concerns to be addressed. It is our goal to bridge the gap between the two entities.

Section 1: The purpose of this organization is to sponsor and conduct programs and activities that further the mission, values, and objectives of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). As a recognized student organization (RSO) at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB), this chapter is committed to upholding all campus policies outlined in the Student Organization Handbook. The organization shall use its best efforts to ensure that all programs and activities are consistent with NAMI’s stated values and contribute positively to the CSUMB community.
Section 2: NAMI on Campus at CSUMB is dedicated to supporting students whose lives are affected by mental illness and to educating those who wish to learn how to better support their peers. The organization seeks to create and maintain a safe, inclusive space where open, destigmatizing conversations about mental health and mental illness are encouraged and normalized.
Section 3:The organization promotes the importance of self-care as an essential component of mental wellness. Through workshops, events, and peer-centered initiatives, the organization strives to equip students with tools and strategies to care for their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
