The mission of Folklórico de Monterey Bay is to preserve, promote, and celebrate Mexican cultural traditions through folklórico dance, music, and education. We strive to inspire cultural pride, strengthen community connections, and share the beauty of Mexico’s regional heritage with diverse audiences.
Weekly Exercise – Stay active and improve fitness through engaging and dynamic dance practice. Cultural Connection – Strengthen your connection to Mexican culture, traditions, and heritage through folklórico dance. Social Connection – Meet new people, build friendships, and be part of a supportive dance community. Performance Opportunities – Perform at CSUMB and at community events throughout the Monterey Bay area. Choreography Training – Learn traditional and original folklórico dance choreography from experienced instructors.
