The purpose of the CSUMB Cheerleading Team is to promote and uphold school spirit, to develop a sense of good sportsmanship and promote enthusiasm of spectators at athletic events, and to promote California State University, Monterey Bay by being involved in the community Cheerleaders understand that teamwork and the maintenance of discipline is the key to success of the spirit of the program. Cheerleaders are dedicated to promoting spirit, enthusiasm, and positive winning attitude through example. Adherence to the Cheer Program rules and regulations is vital to achieve goals.
