Subject: RECREATION RUNDOWN - November Newsletter: Giving Thanks

Hi First_Name,

Acknowledging and expressing our gratitude helps us feel more positive emotions, improve mental health, deal with adversity, and build stronger relationships. This month, we encourage you to spend time reflecting on the things in your life that you are most thankful for.

Your 7v7 Kickball Champs: Last Picks

Shoutout to all of our teams for participating in this league. We had so much fun watching you all compete and can't wait to host this sport again in future semesters!

Last month, Intramural Sports hosted the first ever Otter Field Dayz. Originally set at the Recreation Field, this event was moved over to North Quad. Participants enjoyed a variety of games they could pick up and play: sand volleyball (pictured above), spikeball, basketball, and flag football (pictured below).

Intramural Sports was busy last month! They hosted a one-day 5v5 Soccer Tournament out at the Recreation Field where six teams competed for those brand new IM Champs tees.

Outdoor Recreation lead participants out on a Sunset Hike along the Monterey Coastal Trail. They were able to catch a beautiful sunset and enjoy the nice October weather.

Our 7v7 Ultimate Frisbee league has begun! Participants had their first match the day before Halloween out at the Recreation Field. We can't wait to see which team comes out on top!
