Rec RECap
Last month MB Cheer (pictured above) and Otter Dance Team (pictured right) performed at the Women's Volleyball match. These two clubs did an amazing job capturing CSUMB's school spirit. Well done, ladies!
President Vanya Quiñones (pictured below) also made an appearance and sat with our clubs during the match.
Otter Disc Golf played in the College Disc Golf's West Coast Conference held at Sonoma State last month. The club's very own Gabriel Herrera-Land (pictured left) won the College division by 5 strokes! Check out their scores from the conference (pictured below).
MB Sailing started off the semester with their first Sailing Day! The club headed out to sea from Heritage Harbor by the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf and enjoyed a beautiful sunny day out on the water with new and returning members.
Otter Cycle Center's Ride Leaders led students on the first coastal ride of the semester. Participants enjoyed beautiful weather and a scenic view of the ocean and a pod of dolphins while biking a total of 18.26 miles from the school to Monterey Fisherman's Wharf and back! Thanks to the seven participants who joined us, we hope you had as much fun as we did!
Intramural Sports held the first two rounds of matches for their 6v6 Grass Volleyball league last month in North Quad. Participants came ready to play and their fans brought lots of energy and enthusiasm to cheer them on with!
After a rain cancellation the week before, Intramural Sports was finally able to kick off (pun intended) the first round of their 7v7 Kickball league! Students came out to the Recreation Field to battle it out, inching that much closer to championships for a shot at winning those sweet IM Champs tees.
