Welcome to Tuesdays with Monte, your weekly email guiding you through your transition to California State University, Monterey Bay. We will be sharing important action items and deadlines, introducing you to campus resources and activities, and putting you in touch with people here to support your success.
Fall 2022 Orientation
Thank you for declaring intent to enroll at CSUMB! We are excited that you are about to become a fellow Otter and will be joining the CSUMB raft. Each semester the campus community presents New Student Otter Orientation to ensure your transition to CSUMB is successful. This year, your mandatory orientation will be available on three days:
Students only need to register for one orientation session. Use the event links below to review the available dates and select one. The orientation fee will not be due at the time of registration, but will be applied to all students’ accounts after the enrollment confirmation deadline on May 1.
To register for your orientation session, login to MyRaft, our student engagement platform, and select a date. Be sure to login using your CSUMB username and password and select the "CSU Monterey Login" button--do not try to log in with your email (see image below for reference).
Guest Registration
Don't worry, our orientation experience will also incorporate sessions for supporters of students including staff and student panels, informational sessions, tours, and Q&As.
Guests need to be registered by their student at the time of registration to attend an orientation session and pay a guest fee of $40 per person. Payment of the guest fee is required to be paid prior to your orientation date.
