As we wrap up the fall semester and head home for the holidays, we want to take a look back at the last few months and highlight some of our events. Big thanks to our staff and participants who helped make these events happen!

Recreation was busy this semester! Take a look at some of the fun we had this fall:

Dodgeball Rally

December 4 | 3PM - 4PM | Otter Sports Center

Before the main event kicks off, join us in the gym for fun, games, and snacks provided by Associated Students!

Women's Rugby

Friday Rides

Fridays | 12PM - 4PM

Join Otter Cycle Center as they show you some of the epic views of Fort Ord National Monument and have fun along the way!

A free bike and helmet will be provided for participants who do not have one.

Sunset Hike

December 10 | 3:30PM - 6:30PM

Have you always wanted to catch a sunset but don't know where to go? Join us as we hike to the beach and (weather permitting) watch an amazing sunset!

National Rec Day

National Recreation Day is a day celebrated across the country to honor health, activity, competition, and equity that CSUMB Recreation is dedicated to bringing you. During our celebration, you can look forward to daily activities, challenges, prize giveaways, and more!

Every year on NRD, the Otter Cycle Center leads students on a campus-wide bike ride leading back to the main event space. Click the video below to see more!

Last month Ride Leaders took participants out on another Friday MTB Ride. This squad biked a total of 8.24 miles out in the Ord! They enjoyed blue skies, great company, and were even paid a visit by not just one, but THREE very adorable pups (two out of the three pictured above).

Outdoor Recreation lead participants out on another Sunset Hike to Fort Ord Dunes State Beach. This crew walked a total of 4.7 miles to the beach! They were able to catch a beautiful sunset right at golden hour and enjoy the nice (but cold) November weather.

Otter Disc Golf played in College Disc Golf's National Championships last month right here at home! Teams from up and down California gathered at the Meeting House to participate in a three-day tournament.

Congratulations to our disc golf club for placing second! Three big claps to you ­ƒæÅ­ƒæÅ­ƒæÅ
