Mission
The purpose of this Rugby Club shall be to play competitive rugby at the highest level possible. The objectives are to introduce, establish, teach, promote, encourage, understand, and extend the game of Rugby Union Football within CSUMB. Our team will represent CSUMB and be ambassadors of collegiate rugby in the United States. As such, each collegiate rugby player and coach is expected to behave with dignity, both on and off the field. Students will be able to learn the sport by participating in scrimmages, games, tournaments, and select side teams. The team will play the game of Rugby Union Football according to the International Rugby Board "Laws of the Game", in a sporting spirit, and by observing fair play at all times. Team members will also participate in the administrative duties involved in maintaining a club sport team.

The Women's Rugby Club offers the opportunity to build community, challenge yourself, develop team and leadership skills, and celebrate self-identity. We are dedicated to manufacturing a strong sense of acceptance and pride in both our CSUMB and rugby communities. Practice, games, team bonding, and socials will offer members the chance to meet new people, have fun, and dive into new experiences.
