Alpha Kappa Alpha's mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of "Service to All Mankind".

Membership Benefits
Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha are able to access a network of 300,000 college-educated women from all around the country and all around the world. Our members touch every corner of the career market from STEM/STEAM to politics to medicine. Being a member of AKA means you can find a sister and a friend anywhere you go that help each other, for we know there's no other like our sisterhood.

Mission
The purpose and pride of the United Fraternity and Sorority Council at California State University, Monterey Bay shall be to uphold the values of the University's Vision Statement and represent the needs of the Greek community. As a diverse council, we embrace multiculturalism by creating and maintaining an equitable community for fraternities, sororities and the student body.

Membership Benefits
Greek Life is a wonderful way to get engaged at Cal State Monterey Bay! Students create lifelong relationships, they give back to their communities while also developing key leadership skills and competencies. CSUMB Greek Life consists of 15 active Greek Letter Organizations: 6 fraternities and 9 sororities, governed by the United Sorority and Fraternity Council (USFC).
