Details

Join Recreation as we guide you on this beginner friendly ocean excursion. You will learn how to kayak in the ocean while seeing the beautiful sights Monterey Bay has to offer. No experience needed.

IMPORTANT: Please come to the Recreation Desk in building 12 (Redwood Hall) to secure a spot and pay $30 (Cash or Card) by Wednesday 4/8 4:00 PM. Registration will be considered incomplete until then and your spot cannot be secured. Please see the Recreation Service Desk Hours Below.

Recreation Service Desk Hours:
Monday - Friday 12:30PM - 4:00PM

Rentals include: Kayak, paddle, personal floatation device, and instruction.

Parking: We recommend purchasing a parking pass at Breakwater Cove. We recommend not using the free 2 hour street parking because you will be busy kayaking and cannot move your car.

Tip: Reach out to other participants registered to get a carpool going!
