Career Pathways with DACA
Access to opportunity should be a universal truth, and immigration status should not hinder career pathways. Join us on Wednesday, October 13th at 5 pm PST via Zoom to learn about TFA’s DACA Initiative and how leaders are operating with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will have the chance to hear from Teach For America alumni about their experiences navigating immigration systems, creating a safe space in their classroom, and supporting students, families, and communities. Learn how you can be an ally for students and families by advocating for systems change. RSVP to join the conversation.

Equity Talks - Immigration Justice
For so many, inequity and legislative instability leaves lives hanging in the balance. Join us for a conversation on immigration justice, where we’ll celebrate the diverse and intersectional immigrant community, explore the impact of immigration policies on our kids and communities, and actions you can take to advocate for immigration justice. We’re hosting a conversation and audience Q&A with thought leaders in immigration justice and media: Bambadjan Bamba (Black Panther, the Good Place), Jose Antonio Vargas (Define American, Dear America: Notes of an Undocumented Citizen), and Reyna Montoya (Aliento). This conversation is taking place on Thursday, October 21st 4 pm – 5:15 pm PST via Zoom, register for the event here.
