Active Harvest is a 10-week educational and physical activity program to increase healthy behaviors for CSUMB students.

This effort is funded by Kaiser Permanente to help reduce the prevalence of type 2 diabetes among high-risk populations in Monterey County.

What do Active Harvest participants receive?

A weekly $20 voucher to local farmers markets, totaling up to $200 over the 10-week program.
Physical activity each class, developed by a certified strength and conditioning coach.
Education and culturally relevant strategies for living a healthier lifestyle.
