What is the College Corps Fellowship Program?
The College Corps Fellowship program is a partnership between CA Volunteers, Office of the Governor and AmeriCorps to provide up to $10,000 in unmet need in exchange for 450 community service and training hours to offset the rising cost of college. The four community service focus areas are: environmental stewardship, food insecurity, K-12 education, and health. Those selected will develop tangible professional and civic leadership skills, network with industry decision makers, and receive one-on-one mentorship and coaching to help them standout academically and in this highly competitive job market.
If I miss the deadline, will I still be able to apply?
No, but you can sign up for our 2027-2028 interest list! You can find the link to the interest form on the College Corps Fellowship website.
If the fellowship is full, is there a waitlist?
Absolutely!! We will notify qualified applicants if they would like to be placed on the waitlist. We can potentially add those on the waitlist through the beginning of September 2026.
I am not a US Citizen or Legal Permanent Student. Can I still apply?
Affirmative!!! We have a limited number of spots so apply NOW.
Do graduate students qualify?
Unfortunately, the College Corps Fellowship program is only available to undergraduate students who meet the criteria.
Do you accept international students?
Sadly, we do not.
