Cultural Fashion Show

The Cultural Fashion Show is a collaborated event between Cultural Fashion Show Committee, Associated Students, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, OC3, Rainbow Raft, Hellen Rucker Center for Black Excellence, and El Centro. This year, the Cultural Fashion Show is making its debut to CSUMB, with the theme of "Our Culture is Not a Costume".

The Cultural Fashion show aims to create a space for members of the community to share their counter-narratives through the use of fashion as an art form.
By fostering a space where diverse voices can be heard, this event promotes understanding and respect across diverse communities. It invites audiences to engage with fashion as a meaningful expression of identity, resistance, and empowerment.

Through this event, we hope to inspire others to embrace their narratives and use their platforms to advocate for inclusivity and representation through the fashion medium.
